Challenge Accepted [Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge – Wheels]

When I was first notified of Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge topic on wheels in my inbox, this photograph immediately popped into mind. I’m not sure why it did because the wheels doesn’t quite pop in this photograph. But since it was the first photograph that came to mind, it’s the photograph I will post and talk about.

Norway 2

First tractor I’ve seen up close in my life!

And here I was just talking about angled shots recently in my post with Sue’s A Word A Week challenge on the word ‘favourite’.

Now this photograph was taken in Sande, Vestfold in Norway. Sande is a municipality in Vestfold county, Norway. It’s located about 60 kilometres south of Oslo, which is approximately 50 minutes away from Oslo by car. You must be wondering why I was there. Well, I was visiting my then boyfriend who still lives there now. And because I was there to visit him, we went around to places he and his family would usually go to. They loved playing golf and so I tagged along on one of their golf trips.

This tractor was sitting there near the entrance of the golf course we went to. And when I saw it, I was throughly fascinated by it. Hey! No laughing…. It’s the first tractor I’ve seen in my life okay! Being a city girl, tractors aren’t exactly sitting around in urban areas much. So it’s not a stretch that it’s the first real tractor, discounting the toy ones in stores, I’ve seen up close. And I love this shot.

I don’t play golf so I wasn’t that into the golf course. Instead I was intrigued by other things that one might find at a golf course. I had fun snapping fun family photos from my then boyfriend as well. All in all, a good day of simple pleasures.

What do you think?
Have you see a real working tractor up close before? What other interesting things can you find at a golf course?
